MW3’s The Boys LTM provides a bevy of unique rewards, yet some players aren’t thrilled with the rewards being given. Especially the weapon camos.

With MW3‘s Season 1 coming to a close, the Reloaded update brought the final content push players were looking for to get them through the final weeks. With it came long-awaited bug fixes and updates, Ranked Play, and The Boys LTM.

MW3 marks the second CoD title to merge with the popular comic book/hit TV show, with MW2 seeing Black Noir, Homelander, and Starlight join. As part of this team-up, a new LTM arrives, with an event full of rewards, along with A-Train and newcomer Firecracker.

However, it seems the event rewards are proving to be less than thrilling, with players blasting the camo rewards dished out.

MW3 players rip The Boys LTM camos

With MW3, Sledgehammer Games has been very creative with special in-game events to keep players invested. Events like the Dune crossover have dished out unique cosmetics to those who played, with the mastery reward dishing out animated camos that players have loved.

With The Boys LTM, it’s safe to say the expectations were pretty high for what Sledgehammer could do with the rewards tied to the events. However, after two weeks and two mastery camos provided, players haven’t been fond of what they’ve earned, with players ripping the “Make Heroes Super” mastery reward.

“This sh*t looks like those Windows 98 default wallpapers,” one player brutally commented. Another pointed out the irony The Boys prides itself on: “Given the premise of the show, this is incredibly ironic.”

As mentioned, this marks the second week of challenges with a Mastery Camo provided. Last week’s Death to Supes also caught a stray in the discussion, as one player said: “Two non-animate camos in a row. Crazy. And to think the one camo I missed so far was animated.”

Going off the previous sentiment, this Season has caught plenty of flack for its lack of satisfying rewards. Completing all eight weeks of challenges provides the Coherence camo, another camo players have ripped since it’s also static.
