MW3 players tired as fan-favorite modes keep getting removed
ActivisionModern Warfare 3 players are tired of their favorite playlists being removed without warning as they’re calling on the devs to make things a little easier for people who can’t play all day, every day.
A lot of Call of Duty fans love to look back at the ‘good old days’ when things like create-a-class and matchmaking felt a little easier and then wasn’t constantly being updated and broken with different changes.
Fast forward to now, and things are different. The live service element of CoD has meant that playlists are constantly in rotation, new weapons are being cycled in regularly, and the feel of the game changes every few weeks.
Those things all create headaches within the community, but it’s the continually changing playlists that have really got some players backs up – especially those who can’t dedicate themselves to playing Modern Warfare 3 for hours on end.
Modern Warfare 3 players annoyed by Rustment 24/7 removal
Rustment 24/7 is the most popular playlist for those who can’t sit down and grind out a day of MW3, but, the Rust and Shipment combo keeps being rotated out – much to the annoyance of players.
“People like the quick pace the go go go. The fact that no alternate small map style was giving is crazy to me. Now it’s all maps that can take 45 seconds to find a single person at times,” complained one annoyed player.
“We need a permanent small map playlist. I am not trying to play campfire tales in sniper alley,” added another. “Same, I really only enjoy rust/meat/shipment these days and without that playlist, just logged off entirely,” commented another. “Ship 24/7 should be a permanent thing,” another urged.
Other players have noted that they’ve gone off and played other games while their favorite Modern Warfare 3 playlists have been removed, but they ultimately just want to play CoD.
It remains to be seen as to when the playlist will be rotated back in, but it’s clear that players don’t want it to be absent for too long.
