MW3 players tired of “broken” Aftermarket Part already

Modern Warfare 3 players are calling for a nerf to a new Aftermarket Part, the JAK Tyrant Conversion kit, as many believe it is “broken” right now.

With the start of Modern Warfare 3, Infinity Ward made a few changes to how attachments, guns, and equipment are unlocked with the addition of Armory Unlocks. With these, you can select specific things you want to unlock and then are tasked with completing a set number of challenges.

These Armory Unlocks also include Aftermarket Parts – unique attachments for weapons that completely change the way that some weapons work.

Some of these new attachments have caused headaches for the community, claiming they’re OP and take weapons too far away from how they originally planned to work. This includes the Longbow, which has regularly been labeled as “busted” by players already

Modern Warfare 3 players furious over JAK Tyrant 762 Conversion Kit

The sniper now benefits from the JAK Tyrant 762 Conversion Kit which gives its damage, accuracy, and aim down sight speed. That, however, has annoyed players.

“This shot broken as fucccccc. Even in core it rocks everything with zero counter. The kit gives you better handling, damage, and iron sights with near zero trade offs. Anyone else see this gun as a problem in MP?” asked one annoyed player, leading to many calls for a change.

“10v10 is unplayable rn because half of each team is using it,” one said. “I had a 10v10 game last night where the ENTIRE enemy team used longbow, 10 longbows…. Played a couple minutes and quit. Enough is enough,” another commented. “Biggest problem was one shot guns and they somehow made issue even worse,” another said.

With Season 3 starting in early April, that could be the point that players who want it nerfed may get their wish.

We’ll just have to wait and see on that front, however.
