Modern Warfare 3 players are fed up with being “screwed over” by matchmaking in “rigged” solo games.

Modern Warfare 3 has faced a ton of criticism since its release in late 2023, mostly for the game’s controversial skill-based matchmaking.

Despite the release of the highly-requested Ranked Play mode, players are still furious with the game’s matchmaking, arguing it’s the worst they’ve ever experienced.

As the devs continued to face backlash, solo players are hitting out with their frustrations, claiming they’re being “screwed over” with “rigged” games.

MW3 players lash out over being “screwed over”

In a Reddit post on February 7, one MW3 player voiced their problems with the popular first-person shooter, explaining it feels like the game is “rigged” against those that solo queue.

“This game is so rigged against solo players,” they wrote. “I feel like every game I am thrown into a lobby with either full stacks or three stacks. It’s becoming RARE that I ever actually end up in a lobby with anything with pairs or solo players.

“And to no surprise, those games are almost always one-sided, team shotting sweat fests.”

They added: “What the f**k. I don’t know if it’s my turn to get the middle finger from COD but I can tell you this wasn’t a problem a month ago.”

In the replies to the thread, it appears others are facing a similar issue and agreed solo players are screwed over by MW3’s matchmaking.

“Completely agree, solo players are so screwed over. They won’t even tell you when you’re against a party in pre-game lobby,” one wrote. “It’s rigged in general,” another added.

As a solution, some called for the devs to release a “Mercenaries” playlist for solo players only, which they think could help combat the problem.

But despite the community having a lot to say about MW3’s matchmaking problems, there’s no indication from the Sledgehammer devs that changes are on the way.
