Octane On Leaving Luminosity to Join OpTic Gaming “Leaving the best team in the game for a chance is never easy”
New OpTic Gaming Call of Duty member Sam ‘Octane’ Larew revealed more regarding his decision to leave Luminosity Gaming for the Green Wall and much more during a Reddit AMA.
After three years of dominance, the OpTic Gaming Call of Duty roster of Seth ‘Scump’ Abner, Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter, Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow, and Matthew ‘FormaL’ Piper decided to part ways after a lackluster start to the WWII season.
Scump and Crimsix will be joined by Anthony ‘Methodz’ Zinni after OpTic bought his contract out from Rise Nation, and Octane, who was obtained in a trade with Luminosity for FormaL.
The new roster will have their first shot at LAN competition in Division B at Stage Two of the CWL Pro League, where both new players will have an opportunity to compete against their former squads.
Now that he is a member of the Green Wall, Octane took to the OpTic Gaming subreddit for an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session where he answered a collection of questions regarding the move from Luminosity, plans for the future, and much more!
Some of the best answers from the AMA can be viewed below, with more able to be found on the official OpTic Gaming subreddit.
