“OP” MW2 rifle has better TTK than Warzone’s dominant MTZ Interceptor
ActivisionThere’s an OP rifle from Modern Warfare 2 that has a “better” TTK than the dominant MTZ Interceptor in Warzone right now, but it has been totally ignored by most players.
Over the last few years, Warzone has had its fair share of dominant weapons with broken TTKs – Time to Kill – that have put a few players off, especially if they haven’t leveled it up like everybody else.
In the case of Modern Warfare 3’s cycle, the early leader in those sets of stakes has been the MTZ Interceptor. The rifle has an incredibly fast time to kill across the key ranges and has been the subject of weapon balancing already after a number of calls from the community for change.
Despite those changes, the Interceptor remains one of the go-to guns for many players, with many not wanting to change because of how comfortable they are with it. However, there is a better option out there – but it is a little tricky.
Best LM-S loadout in Warzone
Well, that’s according to Warzone guru WhosImmortal, as he highlighted Modern Warfare 2’s LM-S rifle as having one of the best TTK’s in Warzone despite the fact it’s being ignored by everyone.
“A weapon that didn’t really get attention the entirety of last year but, as it stands right now, with how the Interceptor is broken right now, this already has a better TTK than the Interceptor,” he said. “If the Interceptor gets nerfed and this doesn’t, it speaks for itself, right.”
WhosImmortal noted that it is a little “tricky” to use but there’s no gun that can really “outgun” it right now, so if you master its pattern and land shots, you’re going to be in business when it comes to wins.
- Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire suppressor
- Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support grip
- Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
- Ammunition: 7.62x51mm High Grain
- Magazine: 20-round mag
The only knock on the marksman rifle is the 20-round magazine size, but that just means you’ll have to pair it with something like the WSP Swarm or AMR9 to do the work for you up-close.
With it being a weapon from Modern Warfare 2, the LM-S probably won’t go under the knife for changes in Season 2, so it might be time to hop on board.
