The Warzone devs have finally released a patch to rebalance the MTZ Interceptor and WSP Swarm, and the community is rejoicing.

Warzone is constantly having to balance and rebalance its weapons, as players find new ways to make a weapon OP and break the game.

And for weeks, the game’s community has been clamoring for a rework of the MTZ Interceptor and WSP Swarm, which have been absolutely shredding opponents.

That patch has finally released and a rebalance is here, and the fanbase seems to be extremely happy with it.

Warzone reworks OP guns and fans are happy

The patch was announced on the Call of Duty Updates X account, where they specified that they’ve reworked the stats for the MTZ Interceptor and WSP Swarm.

They explain in the post that both the weapons have had their damage values reduced in various ways to accommodate the demands of the players.

Looking into the specific notes for the patch, the damage reduction is across the board, with just about every damage-related category receiving some kind of reduction.

The response from the community has been largely positive as well, with one user saying: “LETS GO, THANK YOU FOR THIS.”

Another fan gave another resounding, “Y’all crushing it, holy.”

Some players, though, are lamenting the nerfs as they have fallen in love with using one of the weapons. One person event comments: “Swarm lowkey was the only gun I was good with on Warzone.”

It isn’t a common occurrence for patches like this to be so overwhelmingly positive in their reception, but when guns have been terrorizing the Warzone community for so long, it makes sense in this case.
