Season 2 Reloaded sees the developers continue to tinker with Warzone’s audio, with the latest patch introducing audio improvements to the revive mechanic.

Since its launch, Warzone‘s audio has always been a hot topic of discussion amongst its player base, with each new COD title integration seemingly hampering the experience.

That said, the developers have been exceedingly active regarding audio balancing, as numerous patches have addressed the issue to quell player concerns. Season 2’s arrival brought much-needed audio improvements to parachutes, ascenders, and enemy Redeploy Drones.

Season 2 Reloaded aims to continue the audio-improving trend, with changes to reviving in-game.

As part of the Warzone Season 2 Reloaded update, the following changes have been implemented:

  • The overall volume of reviving a teammate has been slightly increased.
  • A new, unique sound has been added for reviving a player so that it is significantly more noticeable to nearby players.
  • Reviving a teammate using a medic vest now has a unique audio cue that players within a small radius can hear. Quality of Life

In the heat of the moment, audio cues like reviving can be pampered out quite easily. The patch attempts to quell those issues, with increased volume and new sounds. There’s also the unique cue that plays for players using medic vests, a new introduction via MW3’s integration.

As mentioned with the Season 2 release, Raven Software, and Sledgehammer Games will continue to monitor audio for any improvements. Season 2 Reloaded’s updates are a step in the right direction it seems.

Season 2 Reloaded starts March 6 at 9 AM PT | 12 PM EST, with changes also hitting MW3 and Zombies.
