A Warzone player shares a heartwarming clip where they show mercy to a player they realize is new to the game.

Warzone is usually seen as a cutthroat, free-for-all where players are gunning each other down without a second thought.

However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t room in there for some fun, heartwarming situations to unfold.

Such is the case with a recent clip that was shared, showing one of these wholesome moments of a player sparing the life of a newbie.

Warzone player shares kind gesture of mercy to new player

The clip was shared to the Warzone subreddit, where the poster shared: “I realized this guy is new to the game so I let him live :D.”

The clip itself shows the player easily downing another person with just a pistol, which clues them into them being rather new to the game.

As a result, they turn to game chat and offer the downed player a chance to live if they give them some Armor Plates to make up for what they’ve lost in the fight.

After the exchanging of plates, the player then asks if they’d like to fight again, to which the newbie clearly shakes their character’s head and the two part ways.

The responses to the clip have been appreciative of the warmth shown to the new Warzone player.

As one of the top comments says: “Hahahah love this! Good for you, OP, for not taking the game so serious and actually having some fun!”

Another user echoes the sentiment in saying: “Quality content right here, love how he just shook right and left for no lmao.”

However, some are a little suspicious of the whole interaction, as many believe the player exhibits too much knowledge to be new to the game.

“… plates were instantly dropped. Any new player would probably accidently throw a stun, crouch and drop his gun while trying to find out how to drop plates.”

No matter the experience of the downed player, the situation makes for a fun clip that shows how Warzone doesn’t have to be so serious all the time.
