FaZe Clan’s ZooMaa suffers bizarre Black Ops 4 spawn glitch during scrim

Call of Duty pro player and FaZe Clan member Tommy ‘ZooMaa’ Paparratto was left stunned after suffering a crazy spawn glitch while practising the new Control mode on Black Ops 4.

ZooMaa was playing alongside his FaZe teammates in a scrim game against eUnited, when the teams headed to Frequency to practise the mode.

With time dwindling down, and both teams running low on available respawns, Paparatto was desperate to get back on the map and battle to secure a late victory.

Unfortunately for ZooMaa, instead of spawning on the ground where most people would expect, his character somehow managed to spawn high above the map, immediately falling out of the sky and dying.

Paparatto couldn’t understand what had just happened to him, throwing his arms up in disbelief as he found himself spectating his teammates once again.

“I spawned off the map,” groaned ZooMaa, although thankfully the game didn’t take a life off his squad as they headed into the crucial final stages of the map.

Professional players are practising the new Control game mode as it will be one of the three competitive game modes played during the 2018/19 Call of Duty esports season.

While rumors that the mode would be included in esports had been circulating for weeks, the official release of the CWL ruleset on Friday, October 26 confirmed that pro teams would be going head-to-head on in Control.

In the mode, one team attempt to capture two zones placed on the map, while the other team tries to defend them. Teams are only granted 25 lives, making for calculated plays and intense finales to matches.
