TGE TV reveals new Porsche Carrera GT

Popular car YouTuber Thomas George, who runs the TGE TV channel, has given fans a first-look at the newest set of wheels added to his collection. That’s right, he’s finally a Porsche Carrera GT owner.

The internet personality finds a way of juggling both content creation and investment banking on a weekly basis, pulling in thousands of videos each time he uploads to his channel – which boasts an impressive 196,000 subscribers at the time of writing.

Thomas has put out a number of videos in the past featuring impressive vehicles, whether it be a 2020 Mercedes AMG GT, a McClaren P1, or something a little less flashy like a Range Rover.

He’s been wanting a Porsche Carrera GT for a long time and finally he’s bought one.

However, flashy was definitely the look he was going for in his March 17 video, after revealing he had finally went out and bought himself a brand-spanking Porsche Carrera GT – showing it off at the Good Wood Motor Circuit, which was apparently his for the day.

According to Autotrader, this type of car can be priced anywhere between $700,000 to $1 million, depending on the seller and condition.

It’s a car he’s wanted for a long time, too, revealing it had been a 15-year wait to get to this point. Now that he could finally get his hands on it, the YouTuber revealed something interesting about the design of the one he chose.

He said: “This is actually a very rare spec. The color on this car is jet black. It is a UK car in jet black, one of only two examples – I believe,” before joking that people in the comments may prove him wrong.

“The majority of black GT Carreras you see are actually a basalt black, which is a metallic fleck. It’s almost a dark gray in sunlight. This is a solid black, a very very rare color.”

George then decided to take viewers all around the car, giving everybody watching a closer look at different features. He added: “Around the back of the car then, all very standard stuff as this car is completely stock, as a Carrera GT – I think – should be,” before revealing one thing he did decide to customize.

The content creator has added the TGE TV registration plate to the new vehicle, which had previously featured on his Lamborghini Aventador. To round things off, he gave a big shoutout to Charles and Dean for helping fund the hypercar, which he says is particularly difficult to do in the current market as many come with a sketchy history.

What the future holds for TGE TV and whether or not he will try to top this latest addition with something even more impressive in the future remains to be seen. Until then, we’re sure he’ll have a hell of a time driving his new Porsche.
