How to make crops grow faster in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Ancient Gardener in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Sometimes you’re short on time and want to speed things up or you might notice the crops are not growing. To make crops grow faster in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can follow these tips and strategies:

  1. Water Regularly: Ensure that your crops receive an adequate amount of water regularly and you should note some crops need more water than others. If the crops appear dry or parched, it’s a good sign they need watering. There’s no overwatering in Disney Dreamlight Valley, so you don’t need to worry about giving them too much.
  2. Upgrade Tools: Upgrade your farming tools to improve efficiency. Better tools allow you to work more efficiently on your farm, including planting, watering, and harvesting crops faster. The watering can, pickaxe, and shovel can be upgraded by completing quests like “What Home Feels Like” and “Friends Aren’t Food.”
  3. Plant your crops in the same biome: Plant the crops where you found or purchased them. If you plant seeds in a different biome than where they are naturally found, their growth time will be extended, so it’s essential to plant them in the appropriate location.
  4. Use Ancient Gardeners: If you have the expansion, you’ll be able to build Ancient Gardeners to help get planting, watering, and harvesting done in an instant. This won’t reduce growth time for your crops, but automating some of the tedious tasks will allow you to care for even larger fields in less time.
