How to unlock Tiana’s Palace restaurant in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Remy gets some steep competition with Tiana’s Palace restaurant in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but setting up this fine dining spot isn’t a piece of cake.

True to the Princess and the Frog, Disney Dreamlight Valley gives Tiana a full-time job at her own restaurant and even a Meal Stall to supply your feeding needs.

This is all part of the Dapper Delights update, but you won’t find all the new content as soon as you boot up the game. Instead, there are a couple of steps you must follow to unlock Tiana’s Palace restaurant.

How to get Tiana’s restaurant

To unlock Tiana’s Palace restaurant, follow Remy’s A Taste for Literature quest until Tiana joins the Valley. Then, hang out with Tiana or give her gifts until your Friendship reaches level 2. Let’s explore each step in detail.

Unlock Tiana

If you don’t have the quest A Taste for Literature in your quest log, look for a letter from Remy in your mailbox. The letter’s name is “A Culinary Development!” and after you read it, you’ll receive A Taste for Literature.

To complete A Taste in Literature, you must find a mysterious book in the Glade of Trust, bring it to Remy, inquire Moana, Mickey, and Merlin about the book, and cook up a brand new recipe Enchanted Shrimp Étouffée to refresh the villagers’ memories.

Once you’ve completed these tasks, Tiana will join the Valley and ask you to place her home in one of the biomes, concluding A Taste in Literature.

Reach Friendship Level 2 with Tiana

To reach Friendship Level 2 with Tiana, ask her to hang out while you complete tasks or gift her flowers, stones, or even some of her favorites from the gift menu.

At Friendship Level 2, you can speak with Tiana to start the quest Back from The Bayou. The first step of this quest is to place Tiana’s Palace restaurant somewhere in the Valley.

To get the restaurant up and running, you’ll need to set up the Meal Stall and help Tiana with some other repairs until you finish Back From the Bayou.
