69-year-old allegedly stabs man in the butt during argument over gym equipment

A 69-year-old Texas man has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a man in the butt during an argument over gym equipment.

Fights are quite popular stories to share online, including full on brawls over missing Pokemon Cards at McDonald’s and even a brawl in the middle of traffic.

On February 20, 2024, a 69-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly stabbed someone in the butt after a dispute over the gyms leg press machine.

Texas man arrested after butt stabbing

According to CBS Austin, the 69-year-old man was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly stabbing another member of his local LA Fitness gym.

The report says the man stabbed the victim in the left butt cheek with a folding knife after the two had a dispute over a leg press machine inside of the gym.

The man allegedly chased the victim through the locker room after the stabbing, and is said to have been yelling threats at others inside.

CBS Austin says that the accused was convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in 2021, making this the second time he’s been charged with the crime.

Online records for the local jail in Austin reveal that the man is still in jail with a $50,000 bond.

This isn’t the first stabbing in 2024 caused by an argument, either. On February 15, a man was accused of stabbing his friend after he wouldn’t give him his Xbox.
