Addison Rae reveals her biggest style influences including Angelina Jolie & Kate Moss

TikTok star Addison Rae has claimed that when it comes to looking for fashion inspiration, her go-to icons include Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Monica Belluci as well as supermodel Kate Moss.

Since shooting to the very top of TikTok stardom, Addison Rae has become a fashion icon for her 88 million followers on the platform.

If she’s not blowing away fans with her incredible outfit choices on the red carpet, she’s sharing her favorite beauty products. Then again, her new blue light skincare product didn’t go down too well.

Although, Rae said that she owes her unique style to that of three women who helped personify 90s fashion- Angelina Jolie, Monica Belluci, and Kate Moss.

Addison Rae owes style to 90s fashion icons

After having become the face of Pandora’s ME collection, Rae spoke to ELLE about fashion and how her style has “grown” as her popularity has soared. However, she found inspiration behind some famous cultural figures.

“One of my favorite people in the world is Angelina Jolie, ” Rae said. “I love her so much, everything she does – if I met her in real life I just wouldn’t know what to say. She’s so enticing and mysterious. Monica Bellucci has also been a really big style influence for me recently. I love her classic looks: classy, but a little bit edgy.”

Rae also said that British supermodel Kate Moss has also had a big impact on her style despite their body types being “a little different.”

Rae may have received high praise for her fashion choices at some of the biggest fashion events such as the Met Gala 2022, but she’s had to deal with a fair share of criticism throughout her career. However, she tries to “stay true” to herself.”

She added: “Everything I’ve done so far in my career is because of choices I’ve made, and straying true to myself and my intuition. So why would I listen to what anyone else has to say? I got here all on my own.”

Neither Jolie, Moss, or Belluci have openly commented on being Rae’s fashion inspiration but no doubt they will be delighted by the news.
