Captain Marvel – Trailers, release date and everything we know so far
The second trailer for Captain Marvel, one of 2019’s biggest blockbuster films, is set to drop on Monday, December 3.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has become one of the biggest media franchises in the world, with movies regularly smashing box office records.
The next film in the MCU is Captain Marvel. Fans are buzzing to see the hero on the big screen for the first time after a teaser for the character was shown in the post credits scene of Avengers: Infinity War.

With Captain Marvel’s release just over a month away, fans got another new look at the film in a trailer debuted during Super Bowl LIII.

Who is Captain Marvel?
Carol Danvers, better known as Captain Marvel, is a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, who left earth to join an elite Kree military team called Starforce. Set in 1995, the film will follow Danvers, played by Brie Larson, as she returns back to Earth to help fight in a intergalactic conflict between to alien planets.
Who appears in Captain Marvel?
Brie Larson will star as Carol Danvers, while Samuel L. Jackson and Clark Gregg reprise their roles as Nick Fury and Phil Coulson respectively. Lee Pace will return to the MCU as Ronan the Accuser, while Djimon Hounsou appears as Korath, returning to their characters that they played in Guardians of the Galaxy.

One trailer has already been released for Captain Marvel, dropping on social media on September 18.

Release Date
Captain Marvel had it’s release date shifted around around a couple of times, to make room for both Spider-Man: Homecoming and Ant-Man and the Wasp. The film is now due to hit cinemas on Friday, March 8 2019.
Posters
Marvel Studios released the official theatrical poster for Captain Marvel on Sunday, December 2, while announcing the release of the film’s second trailer. The poster features Larson in her Captain Marvel suit, but reveals very little in terms of the actual film.
