Chef Reactions says blocked user is trying to get him “kicked off” Twitter/X
YouTube, TikTok: Chef ReactionsTikToker Chef Reactions says that a user is trying to get him “kicked off” Twitter/X after the creator blocked them on the site.
With over three million followers on TikTok, Chef Reactions is among the most popular food-focused creators on the short-form video app.
Known for being a chef who reacts to cooking videos on the platform, his approach to doing so doesn’t always sit well with viewers.
So often, in fact, he says a viewer he blocked has been trying to get him “kicked off” Twitter/X.
Chef Reactions says viewer reports his videos
In a series of tweets on January 18, 2024, Chef Reactions shared that a user has been trying to get the TikToker banned from Twitter/X because he blocked them.
“Somebody’s been trying their best to get me kicked off this app because I blocked them a month ago. I’m not gonna dox them because I’m not a psycho but in case I disappear, you know why,” he said.
Chef also says that the user has been reporting his videos, and shared a screenshot of a message from the person.
“In retrospect maybe its for the best you blocked me. You’re not a nice person. You frequently abuse and harass people on Twitter for no justifiable reason. You think anyone who annoys or irritates you deserves your unfiltered abuse,” it reads.
At the end, it reads: “You expanded to mocking real hardworking poor and lower middle class moms doing the best they can. You make fun of folks who use “jarlic” when i’m certain it’s probably far less expensive than fresh garlic. It’s one thing to mock somebody who can afford to do better. It’s another thing to mock a poor woman for using generic jarlic.”

On November 30, Chef Reactions posted a video where he duetted a clip from Jess, who is known for her “agressive tutorials” on the platform. In it, he made a comment about using garlic from a jar as “hating it” is a part of his schtick on TikTok.
Many believe this user’s comments are about that video, but Chef said himself that she loved the video and “gets the joke.”
It doesn’t seem to bother him too much, though, as shortly after sharing the blocked user’s message, the TikToker said he’s ready to get back to making videos again following a short break.
