Dillon Danis bets $1 million on future fight vs “embarrassing” Logan Paul
Dillon Danis, Logan Paul - InstagramYouTube star Logan Paul threw down in a sparring match against the MMA’s Paulo Costa, even suffering a possible knockout — but one huge name in the fighting world wasn’t impressed by the social media celeb’s skills.
Dillon Danis, a jiu-jitsu blackbelt and professional MMA fighter, called out Logan Paul in a series of heated social media posts after sparring footage of his session with Brazilian UFC competitors Paulo Costa went viral on Instagram.
In the footage, Paul appeared to receive a sound knockout from Costa, and struggled against his opponent during a grappling session on the mat.
Needless to say, Danis wasn’t pleased with Paul’s efforts against the Brazilian jiu-jitsu fighter, despite his wrestling pedigree from high school sports.
“Embarrassing that Paulo Costa would even stage this with Logan Paul,” Danis wrote in a Twitter post, including a video of their sparring session.

“This is honestly embarrassing for our sport,” he continued in a separate Twitter post. “I think it’s time to retire Paulo Costa.”

That’s not all: in addition to his scathing review of both Paul and Costa’s performances, Danis offered up a whopping $1 million on a potential future fight with the YouTuber.
“I’ll put $1 million of my own money on the line,” he said in an Instagram comment.

Logan has since responded to Danis’s callout, throwing an equal measure of shade his way via Instagram.

This wouldn’t be the first time the MMA pro has had beef with the Paul family, either: in fact, Danis and Jake stirred up a small feud in late 2018, which appeared to be settled after the two were seen in a nightclub together just a month later.
With Logan historically vying for a chance at proving his worth in the octagon — even petitioning UFC president Dana White to let him fight in the sport — there’s no telling if he’ll actually accept Danis’ challenge, or if their fight will ever even come to fruitio at all.
It seems that the YouTube fighting scene has taken a sudden shift, as KSI’s possible match against Jake Paul is postponed until 2021, due to the Brit currently being busy with his music career.
As for Logan, his potential fight with NFL star Antonio Brown doesn’t look like it’s going to happen after all, even though their highly-publicized beef still hasn’t come to a proper conclusion.
