Amusingly, the original Mortal Kombat theme is already a remix of another song. According to a 2010 article by Venture Beat, the song was stolen from a Eurobeat song by 2 Unlimited called “Twilight Zone”.
The remix was done by a Belgian electronic band called The Immortals. That version added on the sound effects, voice overs and everything else that makes that makes the Mortal Kombat theme so awesome.
So basically, the club mix is a remix of a remix and Belgians have played a key role in the theme in its multiple forms.
600Mortal Kombat 11 was released on April 23, 2019. The series was first released all the way back in October of 1992.
It remains one of the most popular fighting game franchises on the market and is well-known for its violent content being one of the catalysts that lead to the creation of the ESRB.
