FaZe Clan’s Nate Hill stuns fans with phenomenal A Star is Born song cover
While FaZe Clan‘s Nate Hill is usually known most for his Fortnite skills, he recently stunned fans with his amazing singing voice in a cover song from the popular 2018 movie A Star is Born.
The 2018 remake of A Star is Born starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper was a hit success with musical fans, with the popstar even winning the Critics’ Choice Movie Award for Best Actress for her performance.
FaZe Clan’s Nate Hill recently teamed up with American singer Madilyn Hill to perform a cover of ‘Shallow’ from the movie, and fans were in total shock over how good his singing voice is.
‘Shallow’ is performed by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper in the movie.
His voice is amazing
‘Shallow’ is one of the movie’s top songs, so it’s no surprise that the pair chose that song to cover. Nate also showed that he’s a talented guitar player too, as he strummed the acoustic guitar perfectly while they sang together.
At one point, the two singers harmonize, and this is where their voices shine, and really capture the spirit of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. It’s almost difficult to think of Nate as a pro Fortnite player when he sings that well – did he choose the wrong career?
“Thanks so much to Madilyn Bailey for doing this with me, shes insanely talented. Thanks to her husband James for filming And to Asivrs for putting it together.” he said in a caption under the video.
The esports star then addressed his longtime fans, saying, ” I know its not Fortnite related, but a few people were here on my YouTube before Fortnite so its nice to remember the original subs too!”
He’s not the only pro to sing a Gaga song
Overwatch star Félix ‘xQc‘ Lengyel decided to giving singing a go during his June 14 stream, playing popular karaoke game Twitch Sings for his audience.
While he was nowhere as good as Nate Hill, his performances were still absolutely hilarious, and provided viewers with some top notch entertainment.
The Canadian streamer decided to cover Lady Gaga’s ‘Bad Romance’, where he struggled to keep up with the song’s fast paced beat. You have to watch the clip to truly see how funny it is – words don’t do it justice.

In xQc’s case, he is no Nate Hill when it comes to his singing skills. But at least he could have fun with it, which is what Twitch is all about.
