HAchubby trolls Twitch viewers with surprise “Mixer” move announcement
Popular Korean Twitch streamer ‘HAchubby’ pulled a fast one on her viewers by trolling them with an unexpected “Mixer” announcement.
HAchubby is one of the breakout stars on Twitch in 2019, jumping from 5,000 followers in May to a staggering 146,000 by the end of December, making her one of the most watched variety streamers on the platform.
The lovable personality’s journey to learn about memes and western culture has connected her to thousands, and during her December 20th broadcast, she showed just how much she’s learned when she masterfully trolled her viewers with a surprise announcement.
HAchubby trolls her audience with a “Mixer” announcement
The streamer had told her audience she had “big news!” with the title of her broadcast, and it had many in her chat guessing that it would be a reveal that she was leaving Twitch for Mixer.
HAchubby zoomed in on her Pepe the Frog plush and said, “Okay you want news? You want real news?” as she shook her doll back and forth. “You want real, yes?” she teased, as her chat exploded with people spamming the name of the rival streaming platform.
The Korean streamer finally revealed her news and said, “Okay, I’m actually going to Mixer!” as her chat began to explode. She then jumped up from her bed and panned the camera over before focusing on a music mixer. Slapping it she exclaimed, “Oh hi, Mixer!”
It was then revealed that the Twitch star had strung her audience along for an epic prank, and was actually talking about the music mixer device she used for her stream.
“Oh! Good! Mixer! Yay!” she exclaimed, as she rubbed the piece of tech and tapped her hand over it. The Korean variety streamer then burst into laughter, revelling in the fact she’d tricked her audience.
Her chat took the whole thing well, as they spammed laughing emojis. If nothing else, it’s proof that she’s come a long way to learn about how to troll properly.
HAchubby joined Twitch in 2018, and has become of the fastest growing channels on the streaming platform, growing into the 29th most watched ‘Just Chatting’ channel in record time.
While she’s not moving to Mixer any time soon, it wouldn’t be a shock to some since the platform has made exclusive deals with other streamers out of the blue, such as Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek.
