Users are able to make their own custom stickers on Snapchat which they can use in the snaps they send or post — but how do you go about deleting them? Here’s everything you need to know.

Instant messaging app Snapchat has a range of different features that its millions of daily users can use, both to send messages directly to another user or to post public stories.

There is a range of ready-made stickers on the platform that people can use to customize their posts, and you can even make your own stickers with one handy feature.

But users have been left confused after trying to delete the stickers they’ve previously made. So how do you go about deleting one of your stickers?

How to delete a sticker from your Snapchat

To delete a sticker from a Snapchat snap, you can do the following:

  1. Tap and hold on to the sticker.
  2. Without releasing your finger, drag the sticker until all the buttons around it disappear.
  3. A trashcan icon will appear.
  4. Drag the sticker to the trashcan icon.
  5. Release your finger to erase.
