Snapchat allows users to share moments from their lives through pictures and videos known as Stories. But is it possible to see who has rewatched your stories?

A crucial feature of Stories is the ability to see who has viewed them. However, many users have wondered whether it’s possible to see not just who viewed your Story, but who rewatched it.

While Snapchat allows you to see how many of your friends have watched your Story, as well as the total view count, the ability to identify who has rewatched it is reserved exclusively for Snapchat+ subscribers.

How to see who rewatched your Snapchat Stories

If you’re a Snapchat Plus subscriber interested in using this feature, here’s how to see who rewatched your Snapchat story:

  1. Open the Snapchat app and navigate to your Story.
  2. Swipe up on the Story to reveal detailed insights, and look for the eyes emoji.
  3. Next to it, you’ll see a number indicating the Rewatch count.
  4. Tap on the emoji to view the names of your friends who have rewatched the story.

It’s important to note that the number represents the total number of friends that have rewatched your Story, not the total rewatch count of the Story itself. So, Snapchat will signal if a friend has rewatched your Story, but won’t disclose how many times they’ve watched it.

Snapchat’s Rewatch Indicator explained

As a Snapchat+ subscriber, you can use the Rewatch Indicator. You’ll notice the eyes emoji under Stories that one or more friends have rewatched (as long as the Story has more than one view).

It lets you see how many friends have rewatched Snaps you post to My Story, Private Stories, or Shared Stories. The number next to the emoji indicates how many friends have rewatched your Story, not the total number of replays.

Can I tell how many times a specific person has rewatched my snap?

The Rewatch Indicator feature does not provide information on how many times a specific person has rewatched your snap, as Snapchat prioritizes user privacy.
