Anisa Jomha, streamer and girlfriend of the popular content creator iDubbbz, has been banned on Twitch following the recent drama surrounding her and the YouTuber.

iDubbbz has built a following of over 7.9 million subscribers and is best known for his popular content cop series, where he has called creators out for their unsavory behavior.

However, the YouTube star received a lot of backlash after many fans criticized the star for ‘hypocrisy’ when his girlfriend Anisa Jomha shared that she would be selling private photos through a subscription service.

iDubbbz received a lot of backlash after defending his girlfriend in latest controversy.

Many iDubbbz fans began to create memes of the content creator calling him a “simp” for defending his girlfriend through the drama, which led to him firing back at critics in his March 28 upload.

Some of the biggest YouTube stars even weighed in on the controversy with the likes of PewDiePie and Leafy, who returned from his hiatus specifically to criticize iDubbbz, uploading videos on the topic.

Once the controversy had cooled down a little, Anisa returned to streaming on Twitch, however, it does not appear to have gone quite as well as she would’ve hoped.

Anisa’s channel was banned from Twitch on April 12, although it remains unclear just what caused the moderation team to strike her account, leaving many viewers confused as to why.

Some have suggested that the ban may have been due to Twitch’s recent policy update, where they revealed a new set of strict guidelines that could affect some streamers.

Twitch has also accidentally banned streamers in the past, such as when TF Blade was mistaken to have used a racial slur. The platform does no comment publicly on community guidelines strikes to respect the privacy of users.

The streamer has not yet responded to her ban on the platform publicly, however, as it is her first infringement, it is likely that her channel will be back up within the coming weeks.
