IRL streamer Hitch embarrassed after Google Translate makes NSFW offer

IRL Twitch streamer Trevor ‘Hitch’ Daneliuk was left red in the face after Google Translate mistranslated his driver’s message.

The popular IRL streamer, who does as his channel name suggests – hitchhikes – has been traveling throughout Japan during the last two months. On his travels, Hitch has run into some helpful ‘stream snipers’ who have aided him throughout the trip.

Yet, the funniest moment of his trip may have been secured during the June 21 stream, as Hitch tried to communicate with a woman who had been helping him during his day in Minamisoma, part of the Fukushima Prefecture.

Hitch has been out and hitchhiking around Japan for 58 days.

As the kind helper was lost in translation about asking Hitch where he wanted to go, the streamer offered to bring up Google in a bid to help out. The driver relayed the message to the app in Japanese, however, things took a hilarious twist when Google spat out the wrong translation.

“Do you want to have sex?” read the robotic text-to-speech robot, leaving the streamer and his driver red-faced as they laughed at what had just happened. “Bad Google,” added Hitch while trying to slow down on his laughter, “oh no.”

As the woman recognized that the translation was obviously a mistake, she denied the streamer’s offer of a re-do and instead, tried to move on from the situation.

Even though Hitch and his kind helper were left laughing about what had just happened, members of the chat were quick to try and fix the mistake as the driver had actually meant to ask if he wanted to know more about the Nuclear Power Plant and radiation around Fukushima.

The pair eventually went their separate ways later on in the stream as Hitch carried on with a new hitchhiking partner and continued to use the translation app, even though it had just completely bamboozled him hours earlier.
