Jake Paul calls out KSI over boxing match against IShowSpeed

Jake Paul has called out ‘KSI’ over his broadcast of a sparring match against IShowSpeed, accusing him of trying to “hurt DAZN viewership” during his own fight.

With more and more influencers turning to the boxing ring, it should come as no surprise that old feuds have brought about an influx of fresh drama to the sport.

Most recently, Jake Paul called out his potential upcoming opponent and the business partner of his brother, KSI. Paul and KSI have long been throwing insults at one another and hinting at a face-off in the ring after years of animosity.

Now, this latest turn of events has seen KSI accused of trying to “hurt” sporting platform DAZN’s viewership.

The drama began with a tweet from Kick streamer ‘DeenTheGreat‘ that read, “Crazy how I’m sparring on Adin’s stream on the 16th with Adam, not getting paid for it, and Misfits is threatening to sue me. See y’all on the 16th.”

“Nagh man. That can’t be right…didn’t the forehead spar Speed on a stream and try to hurt DAZN viewership?” Paul responded, dubbing KSI as simply “the forehead.” The tweet was in reference to KSI’s sparring match with streamer and YouTuber ‘IShowSpeed,’ which copped flack for occurring on the same day as Paul’s fight against Andre August.

KSI also happens to be the founder and CEO of Misfits Boxing, with the potential lawsuit threatened against DeenTheGreat being enough to push Paul to speak up. While neither KSI nor Misfits Boxing have yet responded to Paul’s tweet, many X users chimed in on the matter.

“You refused to promote the Prime Card on your fight with Nate Diaz, which was YOUR BROTHER’S CARD. Not only did that affect DAZN viewership but [it] also affected your brother, making people think Dillon harassing his fiance [was] the reason it did so well,” one person wrote in defense of KSI.

“KSI sparred speed for charity. He wasn’t acting as if it was a real fight, like Deen and Adin are doing. And also, what promotion was KSI Vs Speed on?”

Another person said, “That’s literally not the same thing. [People] can watch both at the same time. But when you fight on one promotion and then just randomly go fight on an upcoming rival one that’s f***** up. And KSI are like mortal enemies.”

Nonetheless, DeenTheGreat appeared grateful for Paul’s input, replying to the call out with a hugging gif.
