Kevin Bacon & Kyra Sedgwick attempted a popular Footloose dance trend on TikTok and garnered millions of views for their video, with fans absolutely loving their take on the dance move.

Dance trends have always been a staple part of viral content on TikTok, with routines like the Renegade and the Savage Dance remaining iconic parts of the app’s history.

New dances and music-related trends are going viral on a near-constant basis, and one song that has inspired multiple trends and challenges is the song ‘Footloose.’

In particular, many TikTokers have tried out a move that sees one person hold their dance partner horizontally before the partner rolls closer to the ground as the chorus starts. Several creators went viral for their takes on the trend, including ‘Footlose’ star Kevin Bacon along with his wife and actress Kyra Sedgwick.

“I don’t remember this being part of the original Footloose dance choreography, but figured we’d give it a spin,” Kevin wrote in the caption of the video uploaded to his official TikTok account.

The post went on to get 1.7 million likes and over 12 million views, and it’s continuing to garner more as it lands on people’s For You Pages.
