LIRIK explains why WoW Classic backstabs are so satisfying, instantly regrets it

Top Twitch streamer Saqib ‘LIRIK‘ Zahid left fans with a hilarious-timed WoW Classic death as he predicted his own demise with comedic precision.

Since its release on August 26, World of Warcraft Classic has taken over Twitch, with a number of top streamers ditching their normal games in favor of reliving years gone by in a nostalgia-filled setting.

One such streamer is LIRIK, who has over 2.4 million followers on the platform, and he can regularly be found playing a wide variety of titles. Yet, it’s WoW that has taken his fancy and allowed his viewers to witness some hysterical moments already that he has prompted with his perfectly timed comments.

WoW Classic has become an instant hit with players and viewers on Twitch.

During his August 28 stream, LIRIK had been running around and away from another player who was seemingly following him. The streamer managed to ditch them when he sat down on the side of a hill and began eating some food to quell his hunger.

As he sat defenselessly, LIRIK noted that getting a backstab on a player in his state would be pretty easy. “You know, I will say, for stealth, finding someone sitting down and getting that chunky backstab on them is very satisfying.”

His timing was impeccable, though, as another player immediately jumped on top of him and killed the streamer, leaving him back in the graveyard.

“Oh fuck me dude! This is what I’m talking about, you see, very satisfying,” he hilariously added, before trying to run back to the spot of his death.

Of course, the hilarity of LIRIK’s timing prompted plenty of laughter spam in his chat, and even helped the clip go viral – with over 66,000 views at the time of writing.

The death hasn’t swayed LIRIK away from WoW Classic, as he has continued to stream the uber-popular release from Blizzard.

Just how long it stays on top of the Twitch charts remains to be seen, but with the potential for equally, if not more, hilarious moments like LIRIK’s death, it should stick around for a while longer yet.
