Logan Paul has revealed that he is currently suffering from an injury that could see his nose “collapse” if he was hit there and could be the reason future fights are stopped, and perhaps even put his boxing career on hold.

Paul is one of the most prolific YouTube boxers in the world, twice stepping into the squared circle to take on rival JJ ‘KSI’ Olatunji, drawing the first bout before losing by decision in their Los Angeles rematch back in November 2019.

It’s widely expected that the 24-year-old will once again lace up the gloves at some point in 2020, however a visit to the doctor’s office in his latest vlog may have thrown those plans into turmoil, and given potential opponents a look at a major weakness that could be exploited inside the ring.

In a video uploaded to YouTube on February 17, Logan was filmed sitting inside a doctor’s office, explaining that he felt like he had been there “100 times” in the two previous days as he attempted to find a solution to an issue with his nose that had been bothering him. After bringing up the x-rays, the doctor revealed that the content creator-turned-fighter was actually suffering from a deviated septum, something which could seriously hamper his boxing exploits.

“Middle partition in your nose, a piece of bone sticks out like a thumb,” the physician stated. “That’s why you can’t breathe through the left side of your nose. We’re not going to be able to fix it until you stop doing stupid things like getting hit in the face. This nose is going to collapse in with a few good punches because it’s been so destabilized on the inside.”

The septum is the bone and cartilage that divide the nasal cavity of the nose in half, and because it is now significantly off-center with a piece of bone blocking the left side, not only will Logan find it almost impossible to breathe properly, but also means that the structure of the nose is compromised, something which could cause him major issues in future bouts.

While the doctor stated that he couldn’t fix it until Paul stopped boxing, the 24-year-old admitted that it would be “tricky” to stop, perhaps hinting that he’s already in camp for an upcoming fight that has yet to be announced.

The YouTuber is expected to square off with former NFL star Antonio Brown after months of back-and-forth between the pair, however, in an interview with TMZ he revealed that talks had stalled, and appeared to call out for other challengers as he attempts to secure his next contest.
