Minecraft devs add touching Technoblade tribute after YouTuber passes away
YouTube: Technoblade/ MojangTechnoblade fans have heaped praise on Mojang Studios after the Minecraft developer created a heart-warming tribute to the late YouTuber.
Fans were devastated after it was revealed that incredibly popular Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade had passed away following his battle with stage four cancer. He was 23 years old.
Tributes poured in from across the internet for the content creator who enjoyed a nine-year-long career on YouTube. He also used his final months to raise a whopping amount of money for charity.
Given the huge impact that Technoblade had on the Minecraft community, Mojang decided to cement his legacy in the game for the future.

As fans across the globe shared their love for the late YouTuber, one fan appealed to Mojang directly to create “an Easter egg in Minecraft for us all to remember Technoblade.”
This is a suggestion but @Mojang could you do some kind of Easter egg in Minecraft for us all to remember Technoblade? Maybe something like if you put a name tag spelling "Technoblade" to a pig this will have a crown.

The call out worked and it wasn’t long before fans noticed a familiar face in the Minecraft: Lava Edition launcher.
Perched on top of a rock, one of the game’s beloved pigs can be seen wearing a crown-a nod to Technoblade’s YouTube icon.

The tribute was widely praise by Twitter-users who found it incredibly touching. A number of fans, for example, claimed the change had them “sobbing.”
Another suggested that the new addition becomes permanent: “I hope they keep it that way, Technoblade deserves all the love he gets for entertaining the Minecraft community.”
This is just one of many touching tributes to come for Technoblade as many of his fellow creators have also claimed that they have ideas in the works to help keep his legacy alive.
