YouTube star Jimmy ‘Mr Beast’ Donaldson has returned with yet another incredibly charitable act, donating over $1 million worth of food to different food banks for families in need.

Mr Beast has amassed a massive following of over 30 million followers on his YouTube channel for his unusual and highly entertaining challenge videos.

However, the popular content creator is also known for his incredible acts of kindness and in his March 28 upload he set out to help more people than ever before.

Mr Beast also organized the viral Team Trees movement, raising over $20 million dollars to fight climate change.

For his latest video, Mr Beast revealed that he and his friends would be taking on the enormous task of donating over 1 million meals to different food banks.

He highlighted that many food banks across the US had been receiving fewer donations with the ongoing pandemic, as people have started to stock up on future supplies for themselves.

“Due to recent events, lots of people have started to hoard food and when you hoard food, you donate less, he shared, explaining his decision to take action on the major issue.

The YouTuber hired six semi-trucks and began stocking up on different protein products before dropping off each of the meals, adding, “now more than ever food banks genuinely need our help.”

After making their first stop at a local food bank, Mr Beast revealed that a single pallet on their trucks could hold an impressive amount of food equaling 7,000 meals worth of protein, “these pallets have thousands of servings of protein in them and they’re going to impact a lot of lives.”

Mr Beast later revealed that they would be launching a “good food challenge” alongside Smithfield encouraging people to help those in need and if they reached their goal of a million dollars they would donate another million meals to food banks affected by the pandemic.

This is not the first time he has raised money for a good cause, as the YouTuber was also behind the viral Team Trees movement which raised over $21 million to plant trees and combat climate change.
