YouTube star Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has revealed that he was robbed of everything in his home at the beginning of his career – and was even allegedly stalked the night before the theft.

With almost 10 million subscribers on YouTube, it’s evident that MrBeast is one of the most famous people on the internet.

He’s known for high-quality (and big budget) viral videos, such as his recreation of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory and Netflix’s hit Korean thriller series, Squid Game.

During a recent episode of The Yard Podcast, the YouTuber revealed he was robbed of everything he owned nearly half a decade ago – well before his current success on YouTube.

That’s not all; MrBeast even claims he was stalked the night before after someone purportedly shone a “red light” on his front door, convincing the social media star that he was in very real mortal danger by someone scoping him out.

“I don’t think I’ve ever told this story publicly,” he began. “I came home at like 3 AM, super late after a video. I’m walking into my sh*tty little house and I just see a red dot on my door. I turned around and didn’t see anyone, so I went inside and for the next five hours, open and closed my blinds [to see if anyone was there].

“The next day, I left my house, and the second I left, everything was stolen. I feel like someone was stalking me.”

(Topic starts at 18:36 in the video)

Jimmy went on to explain that this happened when he had about one million subscribers on YouTube (about 4.5 years ago), but the person that robbed him allegedly had no idea who he was.

With nearly 10 million subs and the title of one of the most popular people on the internet, he made it clear that nowadays he has cameras and proper security so nothing like this happens again in the future.

Though he did have to say no to a gifted Tesla in 2020 for the fear that “stalkers” would follow him around.
