Nadeshot defends Kylie Jenner from critics of her “self-made billionaire” status

There are many people disputing the claim that reality TV show star and cosmetics mogul Kylie Jenner is a self-made billionaire, but 100 Thieves CEO Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag is having none of it.

On March 5, Forbes officially declared Jenner, 21, as the world’s youngest self-made billionaire, beating out Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerburg, who reached the ten-figure mark at the age of 23.

A large majority of her wealth comes from her Kylie Cosmetics company, which is estimated to be worth at least $900 million and has products sold both online and in retail stores throughout the United States.

However, many have criticized Forbes’ use of the title “self-made billionaire” when describing Jenner, citing her ultra-famous family and inheritance as a major reason for her success.

Even Dictionary.com has tweeted several times on the subject, defining the term “self-made” as “having succeeded in life unaided,” insinuating that it does not apply to the 21 year old star.

One prominent person who has sided with Jenner on this issue is Nadeshot, who tweeted out in her defense on March 5, calling the criticism of her newly earned status “nonsense.”

“Kylie Jenner is a billionaire but everyone is mad at the headline or claiming she’s this or that,” he tweeted. “Guess what, she has a billion reasons why she doesn’t care about none of this nonsense.”

The comments section was full of people debating about the legitimacy of Jenner’s new status and Nadeshot’s viewpoint. Some expressed their agreement while others continued to argue that her path to success and wealth, while legitimate, was very much aided.

“Her money she made on the show that she put into her company, seems self made to me,” said Gen.G content creator AvaGG.

“Yeah fair enough, though not ‘self made’ in the least bit,” someone responded. “That’s all family money. Without Kim [Kardashian] or Kris [Jenner], there’s no Kylie.”

At the end of the day, Nadeshot is probably right in what he said – youngest or not, self-made or not, Jenner is a billionaire, regardless of what people say or think.
