NICKMERCS Discovers One Major Weakness of Thanos in Fortnite Battle Royale’s New Infinity Gauntlet Mode
100 Thieves’ Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff is one of the best Fortnite Battle Royale console players around, but he hasn’t quite mastered the art of being Thanos yet.
Released in July 2017, Fortnite has experienced a meteoric rise in popularity thanks to its fast paced and addictive Battle Royale mode which mixes innovative building mechanics with classic gun play.
Available to play for free on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, the “Early Access” version of the game has quickly become one of the most popular in history.
Twitch streamer NICKMERCS’ platform of choice is the PlayStation 4 and he’s one of the very best players out there, racking up numerous victories in everything from solo to squads.
However, while playing the all-new “Infinity Gauntlet” Limited Time Mode, which allows players to turn into Marvel’s Thanos as part of a Fortnite and Infinity War crossover, he discovered that being one of the most powerful being in the entire universe has its downsides.
Trying to fly out of the Fortnite storm, for instance. During a recent stream NICKMERCS saw an Infinity Gauntlet lying just inside the storm and naturally couldn’t resist going to pick it up. The result was less than spectacular…

Leonard Lauder once said, an American billionaire businessman, art collector and humanitarian, once said “if I don’t learn something every single day, it’s a wasted day.”
Today we learned that the all-powerful Titan known as Thanos might be one of the most powerful beings in existence with the help of his Gauntlet, but Fortnite is still stronger.
Someone should probably call the Avengers and let them know.
