Popular Fortnite streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has partnered with EDM label ‘Astralwerks’ to create his very first music album – and he’s collaborated with some of the genre’s biggest names to do so.

Ninja’s compilation album, appropriately dubbed ‘Ninjawerks’ (after the Astralwerks label), features such EDM greats as 3LAU, Alesso, and Tycho in a series of gaming-themed tunes.

Although the album isn’t set to drop until Friday, December 14, three singles are already available to stream online – including Alesso’s ‘Tilted Towers’ (likely named after the location of Fortnite fame), ‘Jetty’ by Tycho, and 3LAU’s ‘Game Time.’

The album, initially announced by Ninja during TwitchCon 2018 in October, is now available for pre-order, and stands as Astralwerk’s very first collaboration with a gaming personality.

Ninja has stated that he hopes for the album to become the “soundtrack of gaming,” and feels that it marks a big step in bridging the gaming and music industries.

“I’m stoked about this project, first because I truly love the music, but also because I think this is another big step towards bridging the gap between music artists and gamers,” Blevins stated in an interview with edm.com. “Our worlds keep getting more and more connected, and this feels like the next step — hopefully, this can become the soundtrack to gaming.”

The Fortnite star will celebrate the album’s release in a party on Sunday, December 2, at Hollywood’s Capitol Records Lot.

The album will be available in both digital and vinyl formats and will feature original artwork, as well as an entire line of additional merchandise.
