Ninja to Stream Live from Lollapalooza Music Festival This Week

Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins will be streaming live from the famous Lollapalooza music festival this week.

Twitch’s biggest star will play with a host of famous artists and special guests from the Lollapalooza Gaming Lounge from Thursday, August 2.

The official Lollapalooza Twitter account announced: “The most popular online gamer in the world Ninja, will be streaming live daily from the first ever Lollapalooza Gaming Lounge. Watch Ninja challenge artists and special guests backstage all weekend long. Ninja streams from #Lolla starting Thursday”.

Lollapalooza will run from August 2 – 5 in Grant Park, Chicago and feature the likes of Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Arctic Monkeys, Post Malone, Travis Scott, Logic and more

This is yet another step in Ninja’s 2018 takeover. The Twitch star has become the face of gaming, streaming and Fortnite this year and has has already played Fortnite with superstars like Drake and Marshmello.

The former professional Halo player has the most followers of any channel on Twitch and over 16 million subscribers on YouTube.

The 27-year-old also holds the record for the most concurrent Twitch viewers of a solo streamer, raking in over 600,000 when he played with Drake in March.

The Lollapalooza music festival was originally created in 1991 by Perry Farrell. It ran until 1997 and was then revived in 2003. The event features a variety of music and acts, ranging from heavy metal to electronic.
