See what happened when Tyler1 attempted the Fortnite Floss for the first time

Popular League of Legends streamer Tyler ‘Tyler1’ Steinkamp had a hilarious moment on Twitch when he attempted to perform the Floss dance.

Tyler1 was streaming the MOBA when members of his chat began talking about the Floss dance, which rose to prominence this year when it was added to popular battle royale game Fortnite.

The streamer clearly doesn’t keep up with the latest memes, as he immediately asked his chat: “Wait, what’s the floss? The one where it’s in the front?” to his entertained audience.

Steinkamp rose from his chair and performed his attempt at the popular dance, swinging his arms around amusingly as he told his viewers: “I don’t know how to do it!”

Tyler’s chat clearly found the moment funny, as responses of “OMEGALOL”, and laughter flooded in. One Twitch user even rated the dance as a 10/10, while some less impressed viewers simply commented: “Yikes”.

The dance originally rose to popularity when Katy Perry invited Instagram star Backpack Kid to “cut a rug” with her during a performance on Saturday Night Live.

While the dance became a viral meme after Backpack Kid’s appearance on SNL, it wasn’t until the dance was added as an emote on Fortnite that the Floss became a mainstream internet hit.

Recently, a European gym announced that they would be hosting Fortnite dance classes called Emote Royale in an attempt to get young people away from their screens and start doing some exercise. Tyler1 may need to take note of these classes if he wants to improve his Floss!
