Streamers explain what they love about Minecraft ft. Myth, Valkyrae, CouRage, and more

Minecraft is undergoing its own renaissance in 2019 and a lot of big-name streamers are jumping on the bandwagon and they revealed just what they love about the game.

With many games growing stale and Fortnite having a giant mech romping around in Season 10, many streamers are turning their eyes towards Minecraft.

It can be tough from the outside looking in to see just what the allure is of Minecraft, which is why Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins asked for people to explain what they enjoyed.

“Serious answers only please, why do you like Minecraft?”

Almost immediately, the responses began rolling in and players had plenty of good reasoning for Minecraft being such a fun game for them.

“It’s a game that is super rewarding to build, explore, and be creative in,” wrote Jack ‘CouRageJD‘ Dunlop. “Creating a server with friends makes it even more fun and the storylines you can make are never-ending. This past week has been so fun on the game. 5 hours feels like 5 minutes. Remind me of early Fortnite.”

Many of the replies do focus on the outright openness of the game and how you can practically do anything you put your mind to.

“It’s a game that allows you to follow a linear path of progression but also lets you set and accomplish your own goals,” said Ali ‘Myth‘ Kabbani. “And whether it’s your own goal or something on the linear path it always feels super rewarding when you’ve finished one task you’ve been trying to accomplish.”

Others have touched on how it’s a lot of fun to play with friends.

“I love the randomly generated worlds,” tweeted Rachel ‘Valkyrae‘ Hofsetter. “Makes it so fun to explore and there’s just an endless amount of stuff to do. Also playing with friends and others streamers makes it even more entertaining! ALSO, it’s scary and difficult sometimes.”

Of course, you have some players just saying they like because there aren’t any mechs like WILDCAT said.

With this question, it sounds like Ninja is open to jumping into Minecraft, and that has been amplified with his wife sending out a tweet asking if there is any interest for viewers.

Only time will tell if he actually decides to jump into Minecraft. It wouldn’t be his first time as Ninja has participated in Minecraft Monday but this would be a completely different experience.
