TikTok star PerfectlyKelsey distraught after daughter Kobe’s dad dies

Parenting TikTok star PerfectlyKelsey revealed that her child’s dad has died, leaving both her and their daughter distraught.

TikTok star Kelsey Pumel, 35, is a well-known influencer with close to 2.5 million TikTok followers. The social media personality makes vlog-style content and also features her five kids and husband in her videos.

Kelsey has previously been open with followers about having to share her daughter Kobe with her dad, whom she hasn’t had the best relationship with in the past. However, she recently shared the two had become good at working together to do whatever’s best for their daughter Kobe.

But on October 23, Kelsey sadly revealed that Kobe’s dad had died, which understandably left both Kobe and Kelsey distraught.

A teary-eyed and heartbroken Kelsey took to her TikTok on Monday, October 23 to announce that her ex, and the father of her daughter Kobe, had died. Taking a deep breath Kelsey announced in the video, “Kobe’s dad died. So we’ve had a bit of a rough day.”

She continued: “I am not ready to speak on what happened.” However, the mom also shared that she’s currently in the “anger phase,” saying “I’m so angry with him.”

Speaking through her tears, Kelsey said: “I did everything right so [Kobe] wouldn’t have any trauma and he just left her with a lifetime full of it.”

She noted how her young daughter Kobe was going to take days off school. Kelsey also shared that Kobe was aware that her dad had passed away.

Kelsey explained that Kobe’s grief was coming in waves and that she was home from school so that Kelsey could be there for her when the waves hit.

Kelsey went on to share a few stories on her Instagram, showing Kobe playing in her playroom as she is surrounded by her mom, stepdad Curtis Woods, and her baby sister. Kelsey shared how Kobe was having a “yes day” and how she would get anything she asked for.

Kelsey has not revealed what happened to Kobe’s dad, despite TikTokers posting their own theories on her videos.

Who is PerfectlyKelsey’s ex?

Kelsey has kept the identity of her ex-partner and Kobe’s father private. However, she’s been open about her and Kobe’s relationship with Kobe’s dad in the past.

In one video from September, Kelsey revealed that she was on better terms than before with Kobe’s dad.

She revealed that Kobe always leaves his house with positive stories and that although his time with Kobe was limited, they were on track to change the custody plans in February 2024.

Since the news of Kobe’s dad’s death, Kelsey asked for her followers’ prayers and said she would take some time off social media to be there for Kobe.
