Some shocking moments have been captured on Twitch over the years but Teamfight Tactics streamer Rumay ‘Hafu’ Wang was given the fright of her life when she heard an explosion outside her home.

The popular internet personality, who has over 700,000 followers on the platform, was playing her way through a game of Teamfight Tactics during a live stream on August 27, a highly popular League of Legends mode.

However, after grinding her way through matches for her viewers to enjoy, possibly one of the most exciting – or scary – parts of the stream came when a lightning bolt exploded right outside her home.

ItsHafu was playing Teamfight Tactics when the lightning gave her a huge fright.

The 28-year-old immediately screamed and nearly fell over as it came out of nowhere to produce a loud bang, suggesting it was very close to her home in Fort Worth, Texas.

She was completely stunned into silence for a few minutes, before giving her reaction to the situation. “Oh shit! Dude, I saw the sparks. Did you guys see sparks? Holy shit.”

ItsHafu immediately suggested that she had been shaken by what had happened and was tempted to call an end to the broadcast in order to check things out.

The streamer then shouted to her boyfriend to give him a warning. She added: “I actually saw sparks,” before joking “Holy fuck… David we’re going to die! I actually feel unsafe. Could you guys see the sparks on stream? I saw a blue spark.”

Twitch clips of the moment have since gone viral, with one attracting over 60,000 views on the platform.

It’s unknown as to whether or not the lightning bolt caused any damage to the area just outside of the property, but judging by the explosion that could be heard during the live stream, it sounded very close to her home. After all, she did almost jump out of her seat.
