What happened in Mr Beast’s insane $60,000 hide and seek challenge?

Popular YouTuber and internet philanthropist Mr Beast held an epic hide and go seek match in an abandoned town with his friends, sending the winner home with a whopping $60,000.

Mr Beast and his friends somehow acquired an entire town for filming their dramatic take on the classic children’s game.

This was no normal hide and seek match, though: instead, it was an “extreme” hide and seek showdown, which means no one went home until the game was finished – no matter how long it took.

Mr Beast was one half of the seeking squad during the match.

The hiders were given 20 minutes to find a place to hunker down before Mr Beast and one other finder went out on the hunt.

With their hiding spots picked out, the YouTuber and his partner only managed to find three of the players before Mr. Beast instructed them to move 50 feet from their current spot. “It’s extreme hide and seek, not fair hide and seek,” he said of the challenge.

One of the participants even managed to order Dominoes during the game, and was able to pick it up from the delivery driver without being spotted.

Mr Beast also offered his finder a $1,000 a head bounty for each hider he found before midnight, and bribed contestants who had been found for the locations of other hiders. Like he said, it wasn’t “fair hide and seek”- it was extreme.

Even though there were only three contestants left by nightfall, the finders went out into the darkness with flashlights in an attempt to flush them out.

They shrunk the size of the hiding area and made contestants move 100 feet from their spot again to make things a little more fair in the dark.

The hide and seek match went late into the night.

Finally, after discovering the last hider, Mr Beast crowned his friend Ben the winner – and he seemed more than happy to walk home $60,000 richer after a full day of hide and seek.
