F1 24 system requirements: Recommended & minimum PC specs

F1 24 is the new Formula 1 game that innovates on its predecessor, but those innovations make the game more demanding. Here are the minimum and recommended system requirements for F1 24 to help you decide if you can run it or not.

F1 24 brings forth a brand new experience for Formula 1 fans in the coming year. This upcoming edition of the game features a new Driver Career mode, EA Sports Dynamic Handling, and various circuit updates in its vast track list.

However, if you want to play F1 24, you’ll need to make sure your PC is capable. At the very least, if you don’t meet the game’s minimum requirements, it is unlikely to run well, even if you use the best settings possible.

Here’s everything you need to know about F1 24’s system requirements, including both the minimum and recommended PC specs you should be aiming for.

F1 24 minimum system requirements

Both the Graphics and CPU requirements for F1 24 in minimum settings are fairly low. This means you will be able to run the game on older PCs easily enough.

This isn’t too big of a surprise, as F1 24 still runs on the Codemasters’ old game engine, Ego. The Ego Engine has been utilized in Formula 1 games since F1 2009, although it has been substantially updated since then.

Contrary to the minimum settings, F1 24’s recommended settings are quite high. The CPU requirements aren’t too demanding, but you need a reasonably powerful GPU to make this game run properly.

In saying that, when compared to other modern AAA games, these requirements aren’t too steep. For comparison, Forza Motorsport recommends users have an Intel Core i5-11600k and RTX 2080 Ti.
