Red Bull issues statement on Christian Horner after investigation
Sky SportsChristian Horner will continue in his position as Red Bull’s team principal after being cleared of misconduct.
An allegation against Horner was raised with Red Bull by a female employee and an external investigation was subsequently launched earlier this month.
A 150-page dossier containing the findings of the investigation was handed over to Red Bull this week before a board meeting took place where Horner’s fate was decided.
A statement from Red Bull, issued on Wednesday, confirmed that the complaint against Horner had been dismissed.

“The independent investigation into the allegations made against Mr Horner is complete, and Red Bull can confirm that the grievance has been dismissed,” the statement said. “The complainant has a right of appeal. Red Bull is confident that the investigation has been fair, rigorous and impartial.
“The investigation report is confidential and contains the private information of the parties and third parties who assisted in the investigation, and therefore we will not be commenting further out of respect for all concerned. Red Bull will continue striving to meet the highest workplace standards.”
The decision means Horner will remain with Red Bull ahead of the opening race of the new F1 season, which takes place in Bahrain on Sunday.
