Burger King responds after naked man bathes in restaurant water tank
Burger King/X/TMZBurger King has issued a response to concerned customers after footage of a man bathing in a restaurant’s water tank spread across social media.
If you want a pretty decent burger and don’t want to pay Five Guys prices, Burger King is a pretty safe bet. And it turns out BK also doubles as a pool for anyone not wanting to register at the YMCA.
Yes, you heard that correctly. A man in Colombia decided it would be a good idea to take a dip in a Burger King water tank, completely naked and in broad daylight.
The footage, uploaded by TMZ, shows a man stripped down to his birthday suit on the roof and splashing around on top of a Burger King, completely having it his way. As a result, the BK in Envigado ended up closing for the day, but the chain has since revealed that no harm was done.
Burger King claims naked man in water tank won’t affect food
In response to the naked man, Burger King took measures to close off the water tank area completely and brought in a specialist to handle water sanitation.
“Our clientele can rest assured that this was an isolated event, which we deeply regret, and does not affect the quality of our products in any way as we do not use the water from said tank for our operations,” the company said in a statement.
So far, the mystery naked man has yet to be identified, but Burger King has ensured that no harm will come to those in its glorious burger kingdom.
“Our primary concern has always been and will always be the wellbeing of our customers,” they added.
