Chili’s customer disgusted after finding moldy “fur coat” in food

A woman was baffled after opening a moldy container of pico de gallo from her Chili’s to-go order.

TikToker Squeaks recently placed a to-go order from Chili’s. Though she anticipated eating a quesadilla with multiple dips, Squeaks was shocked when she found mold in her spicy side.

There was so much mold in her pico de gallo that it blanketed the top of it, so you could barely tell what it was.

Though Squeaks was more than disgusted, she said she’d still be going to Chili’s, just in a different location.

Viewers call amount of mold in Chili’s food “insane”

Squeaks ordered a 3-for-me meal from Chili’s for $10.99. Excited to eat, she took all the covers off of her queso, salsa, and quesadilla. 

However, when she got to the pico de gallo, there was what Squeaks referred to as a “fur coat,” on top of it.

When she showed her TikTok following just how moldy it was, viewers reacted with just as much disgust.

“I would have had a panic attack right then and there,” wrote one user.

Another viewer added, “That’s actually insane.”

Chilis even added their two cents and pleaded to make it right, “This is completely unacceptable. We’d like to talk to you to learn which restaurant this happened at and make it right for you.”

Squeaks responded to Chili’s by saying she was told by employees that their Chili’s would soon be under “investigation” to ensure nobody else is served mold.

Though Squeaks wasn’t impressed, she said she’ll still be ordering from Chili’s, as she was given a $30 gift card for her troubles.
