Footage from inside this abandoned McDonald’s from 1980s is super creepy
WIKIMEDIA: VALERIA EVERETTIn a viral video, a man explored the inside of a McDonald’s restaurant that had been left untouched since the 1980s, and everyone is finding it super creepy.
An explorer who regularly posts content on YouTube shared a video of a McDonald’s location that hadn’t welcomed any customers in over four decades.
He found the location with the help of a fellow content creator, and once inside, he pans over the scene, showing the counter, the fridges, and the outdated drinks machines.
We even see the old TV monitors and outdated french fry labels. All the while, super eerie music is being played, reminding us of how destitute it really is.
The YouTuber explained, “Inside was insane just to think all that’s left there over the years collecting dust… To think people used to work there and eat there and the memories shared here at this McDonald’s once is just crazy to me!”
People amazed by abandoned McDonald’s restaurant
After the video was posted on the platform, people were amazed by the man’s discovery.
“The whole place looks somber and melancholic rather than just scary. It’s that feeling when you walk across abandoned buildings, you start to imagine how alive it was back in the day,” one weighed in.
“Always strange to me to see places that were at one point so alive and full of people, to now be alone and empty. Life and time are so weird and fascinating,” another wrote.
Some tried imagining the memories that took place there, writing: “Can imagine those sweet and golden memories of people enjoying McDonald’s food with their families simply talking and the horseplay of laughing children running around the restaurant and then people walking in and out
“One by one slowly fades away as the time goes by; like once a busy fast food restaurant got quieter as the years went by. Now it’s dark and eerily vacant. I can feel the chill breeze in there.”
Some had a different outlook on the place, stating “Honestly, the place seems more peaceful than eerie. What was once a stressful environment to work at, and that some workers probably hated being at, is now finally at rest and peaceful, if not somewhat dilapidated.”
