A McDonald’s customer went viral when they ranted about a situation where a drive-thru worker made a woman to park her car before serving her.

In a video that gained over 50,000 views on TikTok, a woman shared an experience she had at her local McDonald’s, and it’s one that a lot of people can relate to.

“I’ll never understand why McDonalds will make me wait in a parking spot for my food when there is only one car in line,” Kat writes in the video’s text overlay, waiting patiently in her parking spot.

She looks around, showing viewers the quiet parking lot.

Many people were eager to weigh in on the woman’s predicament after the video went live, sharing that they’d experienced similar incidents.

“I only have a problem with this if I’m the only person in line…I shouldn’t have to park if there’s no one behind me.”

“Expensive and slow…And I have to back out of a parking space after using the drive-thru. Never again,” another stated boldly.

Some McDonald’s workers even weighed in, writing: “One answer: because they’re SLOW… I worked at fast food for YEARS and it should take no longer than two mins to get food to customers.”

Another worker, however, attempted to explain, by offering a policy enforced by the fast food chain: “Sensors time each car and if they stay in drive through line too long our time score goes down and we get in trouble.”

“I never knew any of that! You guys always do a great job of coming out in time!” the creator answered in surprise.

Another McDonald’s customer went viral, after they sued the chain, alleging that the cheese in their Big Mac almost killed them.
