Fans of McDonald’s might notice a change in flavor while they chow down on their burgers this year, as the chain has announced that they’ll be making some changes.

People may feel torn after a brand new statement from the fast food chain, announcing they’d be making some changes in regard to their burgers.

It’s not the first time McDonald’s have been in the spotlight, as throughout the course of 2023, they made several menu changes, leaving fans conflicted.

Perhaps one of these biggest changes included one of the chain’s most popular sauces. McDonald’s announced that they’d be altering the recipe for their Sweet & Sour sauce, which led to a petition where customers demanded they bring the original version back.

Now, the chain has announced that they’ll be changing their burgers in order to improve flavor for customers.

The chain announced that they’d be making several different “improvements” to their burgers in 2024.

This change will include the hamburger, cheeseburger, double cheeseburger, McDouble burger and Big Mac sandwiches.

But what’s the change? Well, the chain have announced that they’ll be grilling six patties at a time instead of eight. With less patties on the grill, the auto-cooking apparatus will apply less pressure, and executives claim the new practice will lead to much denser, juicer burgers.

“We can do it quick, fast and safe, but it doesn’t necessarily taste great. So, we want to incorporate quality into where we’re at,” Chris Young, McDonald’s senior director of global menu strategy, states.

If you’re eager to know more surrounding the food offered by the chain, a McDonald’s worker revealed a little known fact about how the burgers are prepared.
