McDonald’s unleash Double Big Mac and people can’t wait

McDonald’s has just announced that they’re releasing a Double Big Mac for a limited time, and people can’t wait to grab one. 

McDonald’s recently made waves in the UK when they announced they’d be bringing back their breakfast wrap after a viral petition from fans.

Now McDonald’s fans in the US have something to get excited about, as the chain is unleashing a Double containing a huge beef overload with one and a half buns. 

This will be out nationwide and features four beef patties, one piece of cheese, pickles, lettuce, onions, and extra Mac Sauce for fans to chow down on. 

The chain announced its release via their Instagram account, where they posted an image of the new burger, along with a caption that reads ‘Real fans will know.’

Fans can’t wait to try McDonald’s new Double Big Mac

After the post went live, people couldn’t wait to share their excitement surrounding the new release, for some, it was the subject of nostalgia: 

“Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese onions on a sesame seed bun! My dad used to sing this to me all the time as a silly song and I still remember every bit! Thanks for the great memories, McDonald’s!”

“Omg my favorite,” one said, while another asserted that the “Big Mac is fire.”

However, a few disappointed users were let down by the chain, after ordering one of their Double Big Macs, stating: “It doesn’t look like this! I call shenanigans!”

McDonald’s also went viral in January, after they’d announced they’d be changing the way their burgers taste in 2024.
