Woman embarrassed to walk around with Stanley cup after viral craze

A woman took to TikTok to share her feelings surrounding Stanley cups following the viral craze, explaining she is now embarrassed to be seen with one in public. 

Isobel, a long-time Stanley cup owner, has had her cup for over a year. However, her feelings have changed toward her cup after the viral craze surrounding the drinkware.

In one particularly crazy incident, a man jumped the counter at Target to steal one of the coveted cups. Isobel has shared that her embarrassment comes from the “absolutely bizarre, weird culture that exists around Stanley.”

“I don’t want to take this to my yoga class and have people think that I have 30 more at home and that I’m trying to coordinate with my workout outfit,” she explained.

“How do we, like, make it stop because I just wanna be able to bring this?” she asked, clutching her Stanley. “I wanna be eco-friendly with my water bottle and not feel like people might think that I am the weirdest person on the planet.”
